This involves us conducting testing, making system modifications, and delivering help desk support. Additionally, our team continues support of the DHS modernization initiative, Maryland’s Total Human-services Integrated Network (MD THINK). The project is centered on converted previous legacy systems into an innovative, cloud-based platform. This will allow multiple state agencies to share and manage data in one convenient place. PTS also continues supporting DHS with hosting services. Our team assists the effort to provide data center support, as well as backup, recovery, and disaster recovery services for the agency’s critical data processing (mainframe) and web hosting (server) applications.
PTS continues to provide staffing services to the Maryland Department of Public Safety and Correctional Services (DPSCS) Information Technology and Communications Division (ITCD). Our contract as an MBE partner continues through June 2021. PTS consultants perform responsibilities such as application development, deployment, maintenance, and administration of legacy and new computer, network, and communication systems with an objective of connecting to outside agencies’ criminal justice databases.
